I am in the final year of podiatry degree at New College Durham and work 2 days a week as a foot health practitioner. I started working at Birtley Foot Clinic in October 2023 as a receptionist. I initially wanted to become a nurse. After studying an access to health course, I was introduced to podiatry and found it very interesting.

I carry out routine podiatry appointments including swift and laser treatments. I also do ear wax removal via miscrosuction. My specialty is ear wax removal as I am the only one carrying this out. As well as still studying I carry out a variety of online courses along with attending conferences to stay up to date as I can. I love to travel and try to go on holiday as much as I can.
