Sarah

Sarah joined the clinic in October 2023 while studying for her degree at New College Durham. During this time, she worked as a Foot Health Practitioner, gaining valuable hands-on experience before qualifying as a podiatrist in June 2025. She now works as a full-time podiatrist within the clinic.

Before pursuing her career in healthcare, Sarah worked in hospitality while raising her two children. As her family grew older, she took the opportunity to follow a long-held ambition to work in healthcare, with a particular interest in podiatry.

In her role, Sarah treats a wide range of foot conditions, including ingrown toenails, fungal nails, callus, corns and verrucas. She also manages a variety of musculoskeletal (MSK) issues, using treatments such as shockwave therapy, laser therapy and fascial manipulation.

Sarah has a keen interest in nail surgery and verruca needling and is passionate about expanding her skills and knowledge. She is committed to continual professional development, regularly attending courses and conferences and staying up to date with the latest NICE guidelines through ongoing CPD sessions with the team.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and loves to travel, taking every opportunity to go on holiday. She values the supportive team environment at the clinic and credits her colleagues’ guidance and encouragement as key to her confidence and growth as a podiatrist.
