Kathrine is a dedicated podiatrist at Birtley Foot Clinic, committed to providing expert foot care and ensuring her patients achieve the best possible foot health. She graduated from

New College Durham in 2021and joined the clinic in October of the same year. Initially uncertain about which medical field to pursue, she discovered podiatry and quickly realized it was the perfect career path. Since then, she has been passionate about helping people with a wide range of foot conditions, including fungal nails, verrucas, cracked skin, calluses, corns, and musculoskeletal (MSK) issues

.

Kathrine has a special interest in ingrown toenails and nail surgery, helping patients find relief from painful conditions. She has also expanded her skills to include steroid injections, offering advanced treatment options for foot pain and inflammation.

Beyond her clinical work, Kathrine is a mentor within the clinic, supporting and guiding fellow staff members in developing their skills. She is dedicated to continuous professional development, regularly attending courses, conferences, and researching the latest NICE guidelines to stay at the forefront of podiatric care.

Outside of work, Kathrine enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with her family, friends, and daughter. With her compassionate approach and commitment to excellence, Kathleen is here to help you take the next step toward healthier, happier feet!
